My approach to therapy is psychodynamic and relational. I consider myself to be an open-minded therapist, and work to support my clients by meeting them where they are at developmentally. I am empathetic and understanding. These qualities help me to build a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients. As a result, we work together to meet therapeutic goals and create change.

I have a special interest in working with Black/African American populations. I strive to help break the stigma of mental health within communities of color through advocacy, education and most importantly as a therapist. Populations I am also interested in working with include Afro-Latinx, LGBTQ+, college students, ethnic-racial minorities, and multiracial/biracial individuals.

I am a Licensed Psychology Associate in the District of Columbia and practice under the direct supervision of Ryan Robinson, PhD.
