Therapeutic Approach

My approach to therapy draws upon an integrative framework that blends various therapeutic modalities to suit the unique needs of each client. This combination includes Person-Centered therapy and Motivational Interviewing, which is supplemented by evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, AEDP).

Central to my therapeutic philosophy is the belief that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Just as each individual is unique, so too should be the approach to their healing journey. I deeply understand the importance of clear communication, establishing a strong therapeutic alliance, and cultivating a culturally-affirming space for my clients.  Clear communication, to me, goes beyond mere words; it involves understanding language within its cultural context, recognizing how it influences the presentation of symptoms, and ensuring that communication bridges any potential gaps in understanding. Each individual's journey is shaped by their unique cultural background, and it is essential to honor and validate these diverse experiences.

Through this integrative and culturally-aware approach, I aim to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where clients can explore their struggles, challenge maladaptive patterns, and ultimately find healing and growth in their journey toward self-discovery and fulfillment.
